12vDC Power Supply (1-Amp or 2-Amps)

Description: In this listing I have for sale two different wall-mount power supplies rated 12-volts DC, tip positive. The smaller unit provides up to 1 Amp, while the larger unit provides up to 2 Amps, you can choose one. I did not manufacture these power supplies, I am simply distributing them. I intended them to include with my other listings which require a power supply that is not included, but that's not exclusive and you can purchase my power supply for your own project if you like. This item is ideal for small projects, experiments, hobbies and art. While these power supplies are designed to use with small and sensitive electronics such as radios, battery chargers, tablets, microcomputers, arduino, etc. they can be used to power motors, solenoids, servos, relays and lamps, so long as the current limitations are not exceeded. The power supply does not have any overcurrent protection device in place. Drawing more current than it's rated for over a long period of time or short-circuits will destroy the unit. Also overrating the unit or a short circuit may cause fire! It is strongly recommended that using a fuse or other circuit interruptor rated at the same amp limit as the power supply in series with any project where wires or circuit tracks are exposed. Failure to exercise caution in such matters of safety is careless and I will not replace items that have been carelessly destroyed. The maximum amperage through these terminals is only 6 amps, with 10 amps being the maximum on the power supply terminal plug, provided you have a power supply that can provide 10 amps.
