Description: FOR the complete story, FULL DETAILS and BIG CLEAR PICTURES, Please SEE THE DESCRIPTION 1947 USSR >SOVIET RUSSIA Giant Size EARLY Type "100 RUBLES" Note PLUS NEW HOLDER Description This is a very nice, lightly circulated but still “crispy”, extra-large, giant size holder necessary, “One Hundred Rubles” note from the long-gone and unlamented “Union of Soviet Socialist Republics”. It is dated 1947 and is the earlier of two types of this note. The central arms have 16 scrolls around the wheat stalks on either side of the hammer and sickle. The later version, still dated 1947 but issued in 1957, only had 15. Size: 225 Millimeters or 8.86 Inches x 111 Millimeters or 4.37 Inches. Giant size holder necessary and included. Face: ДГ 923219 • Black on multicolor underprint. • 1947 • Vladimir Ilyich Ulyanov, better known as Lenin, in watermark also. • 16 scrolls. Back: Ochre and lilac. • The Kremlin. The Note: A lightly circulated note, it has seen a few hands. It has been folded and soiled but remains quite crisp. It has no edge or body tears and no pinholes.
