Description: Welcome to Antiques & Moore! This listing is for a beautiful, large cobalt cut crystal lay-down, double-ended scent bottle, c. 1880. The bottle has deep cobalt blue translucent coloration in the glass and has a panel cut body with bevel cut shoulder and panel cut center. The silver ends include one screw-on cap at one end and a flip-up cap on the other. The hinge on the flip-up cap is tight and the top opens and closes correctly. There is a round, flat "button" on each end. The silver ends are unmarked and have soft, brushed appearance rather than being highly polished. Measures 5 3/8" long and 1" wide (at shoulders). Weighs 3.4 ounces.The bottle is in very good to excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws. Both interior stoppers are missing and both ends have one faint nick/dent in the rounded area (see photos).
