Description: Brady (443) 269-7382 12205 Hall Shop Rd Clarksville Maryland 21029 Message OUR UNIQUE PROCEDURE FROM PURCHASE TO SALE: Step 1: (THE BUY)We search the entire United States looking for quality inventory to keep up with our demand. Most of our inventory comes from fleets, fleet management companies, municipalities, state owned inventory etc. and purchased through auction or a sealed bid. This is a time consuming process - from the initial buy, lining up payment, facilitating transportation it is a full time job. Step 2: (THE FIRST LOOK AND RECONDITIONING PROCESS)Steps 2 & 3 are the most important and where I think we differentiate ourselves from others. When the truck gets in from wherever it came from, it gets a first look and initial evaluation (usually by whomever bought it). In this evaluation we ask ourselves (what does it need?) this usually includes minor paintwork, mechanical work, detailing etc. After this stage it goes directly to our mechanic who runs down the list of a DOT inspection and gives us a list of what it needs. The check includes the standard DOT check and then some such as lights, brakes, tires, steering components, major/minor leaks but also overall mechanical condition and items that may not be on a DOT inspection checklist. Some lists are small, some are long, but none the less the work gets completed until we are satisfied with our product. We are completely transparent here and would be happy to show an interested buyer what work was completed on the truck. Once the mechanical work has been completed it goes off into the next step of reconditioning which may be the body shop or detail. We do not buy any major wrecks or salvage vehicles so our body work is very limited to painting a utility box due to scratches, a minor rust spot, or a few minor dents etc. Step 3: (THE TEST DRIVE & DETAIL) Once all work has been completed mechanically and cosmetically, we are lucky enough to have a semi-retired CDL driver do test drives for us. This test drive includes (but not limited to) a 1+ hour, 40+ mile highway/city test to ensure the truck is ready to be sold. This test drive is where any kinks get worked out and to ensure all mechanical work has been completed correctly. As the driver is on his test drive he notes any minor issues (if any) and reports back with how it drove. If you would like to speak to the driver directly, we can put you into contact with him to get his opinion on the truck. Once it gets his blessing, it goes to detail (if it wasn't detailed already) to be shined up. The detailing process typically takes 2 full days and includes an interior and exterior wash. Our detailer has been in this line of work for over 20 years and knows how to make a truck shine! Step 4: (THE SALE)After all of this, the truck is finally ready to sell. At this time the truck gets placed on "the pad" and is ready for 100+ pictures and a several minute long video. At this point the truck has been looked over by several people, mechanically checked, driven over an hour, cleaned and is a product we can stand behind and put our name on. This process is what makes us who we are, and allows us to be confident in the trucks we sell. Contact us for a quote! A very nicely sorted and setup 40' 4X4 Powerstroke diesel bucket truck in overall nice condition inside and out that is ready to work! This truck runs and drives well for the mileage. The Powerstroke 6.7L turbo diesel engine starts right up, sounds good and is very quiet. The automatic transmission shifts smoothly and as it should. The ETI 35' platform height / 40' working height bucket unit operates as it should at both control stations (upper bucket control & lower compartment mounted controls). The functionality of the bucket is smooth and stable. It has a hydraulic PTO pump which runs the hydraulics on the boom which is powered via truck mounted PTO. The truck is equipped with a steel utility body that is in good condition inside and out. Inside of the boxes show wear but no major rust is present. A few box floors have scaling rust present, but no major rot is present. Plenty of space for storage of tools and material. It has an inverter installed in the front drivers side box - it has been untested for functionality (batteries removed). The exterior is in good condition with minor cosmetic flaws to be expected for the year / miles of the truck. The interior is in good condition and is optioned nicely with power windows, door locks, AM/FM radio, air conditioning and more. The frame is fairly clean and is free of major rust (just light surface rust). All tires appear to be in good, workable condition with deep tread remaining. This truck is in great overall condition and we did not do any major paintwork, just light touching up and painting in some areas due to light rust / wear. It was an overall nice truck when it came in. This truck has been used and has higher mileage so please expect small damages, surface rust and imperfections. For the mileage, this truck runs and operates well. Please view all pictures and attached video for an accurate representation of the truck. We are located in Clarksville, MD 21029.
