The holster retention is on the light itself and not the pistol, which means the holster will not work without the light mounted on the firearm.You will need the Streamlight TLR-7 Sub Sig version to work properly with this holster. The Streamlight part number is 69401.This holster will fit the Sig P365, P365X, P365XL Spectre, P365 XL RomeoZero, P365X RomeoZero, P365 SAS, P365XL Spectre Comp, and the P365XL Romeo Zero Elite with the TLR-7 Sub. This holster DOES NOT Work with the P365-XMACRO Grip module. Our holsters are vacuum formed with a precision machined mold designed from a CAD model of the actual firearm. The clip is designed for 1.5" width belts with an extremely high clamping force that will not slip off the belt once installed correctly. The Monoblock allows holsters and mag pouches to be worn without a belt as long as the garment is sturdy enough to hold the weight. The under hook design on both legs has a built-in progressive strain relief. In the event it sees a large amount of force, this strain relief coupled with uniform hardness of the steel will gradually bend while continuing to hold instead of just hitting its limit and breaking.Care and maintenance: The surface finish of the clip does not need much attention. If any light scratches or wear marks develop, we recommend a quick yet firm buff with WD40, but anything like vegetable oil, mineral oil, or motor oil will work well. Our holsters are designed to hold firearms with a secure fit and proper retention so that you have the confidence to carry concealed in precarious situations. With that in mind, the holsters need to touch your firearm in several places to reduce or eliminate a loose fit and establish a good level of retention. The fit of our holsters may cause some wear marks on your pistol. This will typically occur at the top of the slide on each side of the sight, on each side of the slide and possibly on the weapon mounted light if applicable. If your firearm has a soft finish, there is a possibility that the holster will wear or scratch that finish more than normal.We suggest keeping your holsters clean and free of dust and debris to reduce the amount of wear that dirt and debris might cause. If holster wear is a significant concern to you on your firearm, we suggest you keep your pistol in a lockable case or in a gun safe and not in our holster.
