Description: Very nice A Stowell & Co. 14k yellow gold pocket watch. Featuring a white face with blue tinted dial hands and black numbers. Stamped 14k in two places. The watch mechanism is stamped American Waltham watch Co. It's my understanding that Waltham made these pocket watches for the Stowell Co., besides that I know very little about vintage pocket watches and I do not know the age of this timepiece. The pocket watch is 1 1/2 tall including winder and top ring bail and is 1 1/4 wide by 11mm thick. Full weight is 32.5 grams. The crystal or glass cover is in very good condition. The watch looks clean and in nice condition for the age of this piece, has normal wear from use over the years. Keeps perfect time. The pocket watch doe's have initials CCB on the backside of watch but can easily be removed by a jeweler. Purchased from VA Beach, Virginia estate. Thank you for viewing my auction.
