The original finish is in very good overall condition for 100 plus years however on the side of top near the rim a manufactured shallow indentation which is highly polished and completely smoothed, there is no roughness, for accuracy needs to be noted, one would not even notice unless on close inspection, not distracting from the beauty of this piece in display mode, please do view the photos because naturally there is age related wear to some of the gold, underside of base has typical surface scratches. Condition is old yet in very good condition. Selling as shown in photos. Please consider this piece is an antique ... by its very nature of being old, it is not "dead mint" or perfect.
