Description: Antique Solid Oak Child's Rocking Chair 1920's Overall height 25", 16.25" at widest part (ends of arm rests), length of rockers 25", seat height 11", seat width at front 13". The original finish has already been stripped so it is raw wood, ready to be sanded, stained and protected. It was dipped for the stripping process. There are a few areas where there are nicks, chips, etc. Please check out the photos. It has no manufacturer's mark on it. It could be homemade, but we're not sure. May need a bit of wood glue in a few joints, probably due to the dipping. The seat has the original upholstery, which is some type of yellow faux leather. It has cleaned up well, with only a couple of light scratches and pin-sized spots on it. This has been in our family since the mid-1920's. This chair was my aunt's and she was born in 1922.
