Description: This is an original 1964 First Pressing Capitol Records MONO LP record: Scranton Pressing Third Variation THE BEATLES ~ MEET THE BEATLES (mono)Capitol Mono T-2047, cover has no split seams, with original inner sleeve Black rainbow label without "subsidiary" text. LP housed in blue company catalog inner sleeve. The Beatles picture on the front sleeve tinted blue. "Beatles" in brown. No "produced by George Martin" on the rear sleeve. 3rd label variation: Side A credits the first two tracks to BMI with the remaining cuts to ASCAP. Side B credits all songs to ASCAP, except for track 5 "I Wanna Be Your Man" which is credited to BMI Matrix / Runout (Side A): T-1-2047-T8 #2 IAM (in triangle logo) Matrix / Runout (Side B): T-2-2047-T2 4 #3 IAM (in triangle logo) Not exc cosmetically but Excellent Mono Audio, played today ~ beginning to end ~ both sides, No Skips, No repetitive clicks, great listening experience throughout, vinyl probably rates VG visually but sounds like a gem believe me, HAS surface marks which cannot be felt with fingertip... Original Cover has no writing, no seam splits, does have age/wear as seen in pix includes original Capitol inner sleeve One Owner, FROM MY Personal Collection, Bought new by me when released in high school eBay seller for over 25 years, well over 10K feedback...
