Description: “Brown Leghorn” is a vintage 1950s Athos Menaboni print. Athos Menaboni (1895-1990) was born in Italy but lived most of his life in the southern United States. He is known for his beautifully detailed and lifelike renderings of birds. During his sixty year career he is credited with painting over 150 species of American birds. “Brown Leghorn” is 17" x 20.5" and is in very good condition. The paper is textured and lightweight and feels like it has some percentage of cotton. Please use the included photos as a condition guide.
