Description: This one-of-a-kind, original print photograph captures a heartwarming moment of children and infants in Woodlawn, Chicago, circa 1900. The warm black and white color and landscape orientation create a timeless and documentary style, perfect for lovers of Americana and domestic life. This 18x14" photograph, which is matted, is an antique piece that would make a great addition to any collection of photographic images and photographs. The image features the children in a studio pose. The photograph is an original production from the early 1900s, and its uniqueness is emphasized by the fact that it is the only one of its kind. This photograph is a beautiful representation of Americana, children, and family life that would add a touch of history to any space. This photograph is almost the same size as the matting and is affixed to that matting. The matting has some edge damage but is in overall good condition. The photograph has a few spots that have missing image, but the children are absolutely stunning! This photograph is in overall excellent condition for its size and age. On the back you will see hand written “Mrs. Robert Nesbit; $1.10; Woodlawn Chg; # (can’t read); Will call” There are a couple of other things written that are faded enough that I can no longer read them. Along the side is written something that looks to me like “95 (or 15) - 1 yr 2 1/2 ms” I’ve included photos of all the writing, I’ll leave the more difficult translations to the new owner!
