Description: This is a custom handmade knife by C.A. West of Illinois. The blade is 5.875" long with a flat grind, a plain edge, and a modified clip point with a swedge. Overall length is 11.25" The handle scales are made of water buffalo horn with no signs of cracks, chips or delamination. They are held in place with six pins & a double nickel silver guard The blade has a hand-rubbed satin finish with an elaborate design etched on both sides. The sheath is original to this knife. The sale includes the knife case it's been in since I owned it. It is an original piece and not a reproduction, made in the United States by knife maker C.A. West who sold his first knife in 1963 & died in 2022
