Description: Antique Derby Candlesticks Stunning pair of candlesticks of couple with flowers made by Derby c. 1785-1825. Faux Meissen mark as well as No. 400 incised on female figure. Approx 9.5"H X 4"W. Documentation: Similar item on display at Victoria and Albert Museum-Accession #203-1935 Condition: Male figure is supposed to have a basket to right instead there are beautifully restored flowers, ribbon on pant leg missing, chipping to flowers and large chips to back of hat, Lady has minor chipping to hat rim, loose break to candle holder, both have chipping to foliage, otherwise minor imperfections to be expected I will be listing a large Collection of fine English Porcelain so please continue watching.
