Description: Perfect, diminutive, almost colorless, 1/2 pint Washington / Taylor flask acquired at the Los Angeles Bottle Club show in 2016 from a reputable seller named Scott (RIP). Scott always had incredible gems like this one for sale. I walked up to his table that day, and he pulled this little gem out of a box he had behind his display table, and I almost choked. Sure in cobalt blue or puce it would be a lot "prettier" but this was one of the best looking examples of an aqua W/T flask I'd ever seen. This perfect little flask displays mint. No chips, scratches or high point wear. Truly wondrous how something this old and delicate has withstood the test of time. The plain neck finish has a very light fire polish and barely perceivable tooling. The base is a type 1 with a distinct open pontil, nicely whittled glass with small bubbles throughout, round out this little gem. You won't be disappointed. The only in making roughness present is on the inside of the lip and is part of the in neck re-firing process and can be attributed to crudeness. My pictures are a big part of my description, so hit that buy button only after you've closely looked at them all and made your decision accordingly.
