Description: This is a great little Parrot's Beak, scientific name is Gmelina Philippensis. Tree is 5+ years old. It measures 9" tall from the soil by 11" wide with a chunky 1 1/2" trunk. Very nice 3" root spread. It is growing very healthy on a 7x5 plastic rectangular pot. Great and strong species to grow as bonsai, known for their beautiful and unique yellow flowers, shaped as a parrot’s beak (see picture for reference), easy to take care of, very fast grower, will grow better outdoors. See last picture so you can get an idea of how an older/ finished Gmelina tree looks like, you will get the tree that is on the rest of the pictures.
