Description: Information:Contains: Malathion 0.5% w/v in an aqueous base. Directions for use: - Head Lice: Apply sufficient lotion to completely wet hair and scalp or skin and rub gently, taking care to avoid the eyes. Beard and moustache should be treated as well. Allow the hair to dry naturally. DO NOT dry hair using a hairdryer or other artificial heat. After a minimum of 12 hours, or if a residual effect is desired, or the next day, wash hair normally and thoroughly. Rinse and comb wet hair to remove dead lice and eggs with a fine-toothed comb. At this point a hairdryer can be used. If infestation occurs, apply not earlier than 7 days after the first treatment. - Crab Lice (Pubic Lice) Wet the whole body and apply the lotion to the total skin surface. Pay particular attention to all hairy areas including beard and moustaches. Avoid any other areas above the neck. Leave for as long as possible, ideally overnight. Wash off thoroughly. - Scabies Mite After a warm bath, apply lotion to the entire skin surface. Rub in well and allow to dry naturally. It is not normally necessary to apply above the neck but children under the age of 2 years should have a thin film applied to the scalp, face and ears, avoiding eyes and mouth. Do not bath or wash for 24hours. If hands or any other parts must be washed during this period, the treatment must be re-applied to those areas immediately. The itching and rash may not subside immediately. It may take several days for all signs of the infestation to clear. An anti-irritant cream can be applied if necessary.
