Description: Large 1880's -1900 Antique Walnut woodland carved edges frame gilt interior Awesome solid walnut frame in really excellent condition for , it's age. I used Old English stain to bring life back to this piece. Wonderful carved front edges. There a few minor little chips on interior jesso gold interior edge. Dimensions: Each is 25 1/2" by 20 5/8" Overall. 2 1/2" deep from front edge to back protruding frame that holds glass and image or print. Interior dimensions(the frame that the glass drops into on the back: 19" by 14"Frames has wide walls, 3 1/2" including the gilt interior piece. These could use a coat of Old English stain , easy to apply, it will darkened and oil the wood.
