Description: Parker 51 Fountain Pen Parker 51 Overhauled 14K Gold Nib Made in USA Description If you send me a message, I can give you a small discount, but please contact me before purchasing. We do not accept discout after purchase. ### Important Notice for US Buyers Please be aware that items containing ink may require the submission of a TSCA (Toxic Substances Control Act) form at customs. Unfortunately, we are unable to submit this form on your behalf. If you do not need the ink, please inform us in advance via message. This will eliminate the need for customs documentation, which is recommended for those in a hurry. Thank you for your understanding. I'm organizing my treasured collection in preparation for moving. It has been completely disassembled and thoroughly cleaned, part by part, and the ink sac has been re-glued before being carefully adjusted and restored. The Parker 51 is a masterpiece that shines brightly in the history of fountain pens. A reprint has appeared in recent years and is now available. The reprint is a well-made fountain pen, but it has many differences from the original, so stationery collectors should still add the original 51 to their collection. The Parker 51 was produced in staggering numbers of 20 million between 1941 and the late 1970s. Considering that there are so many Parker 75s on the market, with a production run of 10 million, it would be nice to see a few more 51s... Due to their age and the fact that they are extremely difficult to disassemble without the proper procedures, they have been used without maintenance, and there are few examples in good condition. Many of the models in circulation in Japan lack proper maintenance. As I wrote at the beginning, I disassembled everything in the correct procedure and re-glued the DuPont Pli-glass intake sac. Both the intake acrylic resin barrel and cap are in excellent condition. There is no damage to the top cap. With its beautiful design, hard and monotonous 14k gold nib and large point, stable ink flow, and large capacity and durable ink intake mechanism, this is an impeccable masterpiece. It is more expensive than the nearly junk 51s floating around on the market, but it has been maintained with a lot of time and effort to make up for it. If you are a stationery collector who understands the history, condition, and fair price of this item, please consider purchasing it. The stainless steel cap and grey resin barrel are a combination that is typical of the Parker 51. This is an Aerofiller Parker 51, which is the most widely distributed and has stable quality. There is no damage to the strong acrylic barrel (the tiny hole on the side of the barrel is for breathing in case a child swallows it, and is not a malfunction). The ink sac is in excellent condition with no coloring. The 14k nib is about EF, and there is still plenty of pen point remaining. Shipping We will ship it within 10 business days.
