Description: This painting depicts the Mughal emperor Jahangir (r. 1605-1627) seated in a garden, surrounded by leading members of his court, and receiving his son Prince Parviz. Inscriptions in Persian, on the top and bottom areas. Beautifully painted and finely detailed miniature painting. Golf painting throughout the painting. I do not know what the painted material is or the type of paint used but it’s incredibly detailed and well made. Custom framed in a matte carved gold frame with a silk matting. Framed dimensions 11" × 8" approximately . Image dimensions 6” × 3-3/4". I have had this for about 40 years. Before that it belonged to my Father. I am not sure where he acquired it and other pieces I have and will list soon. Look at all the pictures for details and magnify the pictures to see all the detail. Message me your questions.
