Apparently either charging circuit or capacitor or both are not functioning. I did try a regular alkaline battery, the watch worked great. This watch is sold sold as is for parts repair. If requested, I can install an alkaline battery before shipping, so it will work as a regular battery powered quartz watch. Please review images to make your judgment on cosmetic condition which I believe is a matter of personal opinion. You will get what you see.
