Description: 8" by 12" color print of Piedmont Airlines Boeing 727-22 N68650 at DCA in March 1967. This was the fourth 727 built and was first flown on May 22, 1963. It was originally built for United and would have been N7003U but was not delivered. Instead, Boeing used it as a short term lease aircraft. Prior to Piedmont, the aircraft was leased to ANA and Iran Air. Piedmont leased the aircraft in February 1967 while awaiting delivery of their 737's. N68650 was written off on July 19, 1967 when it collided with a Cessna 310 shortly after taking off from Asheville, NC. ****All prints are professionally scanned from slides, original prints or negatives unless noted otherwise, and printed on high quality FUJIFILM Lustre Finish Photo Paper. Imperfections, dirt, and dust from original image have been removed where possible, and color and fade correction made as needed. Some prints will have small white borders due to format variations and/or cropping.**** ****If, for any reason you are not satisfied with your print(s), please let me know immediately and return print(s) to me within 14 days in original condition. Buyer pays return postage. Full refund will be made as soon as I receive the returned print(s).**** ****Watermark on Ebay scan only.****
