Description: This is a Portative Pipe Organ. It is kind of a recreation of a medieval period instrument. This one was built in 1986 by Robert Cunningham of Atlanta, Ga. It has 30 keys and 30 Pipes. It is a hand pumped instrument. The organist pumps the bellows with one had and play the keyboard with the other. Or I suppose one could also have someone else pump the bellows and play with both hands? This instrument has stopped wood flute pipes, and is voiced to be very warm and mellow in sound. It seems to play well. The bellows consist of one feeder and one reservoir. The keys are a non-traditional in construction, but are traditional in normal chromatic layout, and are not hard to get used to. One interesting feature is that the keys also pivot slightly from right to left to facilitate easier playing. I would say on the whole the instrument is in excellent condition. It does have a few minor scuffs to the finish from general use, but nothing that I would say would detract. On the whole it is a really neat and functional instrument. Dimensions are approximately 19" wide X 16" deep X 21" Tall Please see the photos and any questions. I am happy to help. I will take care of shipping on this piece within the U.S., or the buyer is also welcome to pick it up. If shipped, I will probably need up to a week to package this properly. Thank You for looking.
