Description: Original Pre WWI German Artillerie Seitengewehr M.1871, very rare, for the M.1871 Mauser rifle and Jaegerbuechse. The blade is marked on the left ricosso "L.H. Berg Collani & Co. Berlin" and on the right ricosso "Knightsheads WK&C". The blade is in excellent+ condition and has the distinctive pipe back configuration. The brass handle/hilt is also in excellent condition . The press stud functions perfectly. The crossguard is bright with light patina. No scabbard, overall condition is Excellent+ for a very rare German bayonet. Be sure to look at all of the pictures for a visual description. 20" blade, 25" overall. This is a massive bayonet.
