Description: This makes me nostalgic for the office. Late nights, the cleaning team would come in, chatting away on their phones as they vacuumed with this very model of backpack vacuum cleaner. It's funny -- Proust's madeline is of course the most famous example of a sensory stimulus that drops us, gasping, into an all-consuming memory, but it resonates because the world is full of such things. For me, the sound of a backpack vacuum cleaner. Anyway, this machine is incomplete, but seems to work fine -- harness straps and buckles in good order with light wear, latches work, switches on and sucks nicely. (Nothing sucks like Electrolux, as the old advertising joke goes.) Very comfortable, actually. Includes the internal cloth bag, but not the replaceable filter bags. Bottom filters are included, but probably need replacing. Does not include wand, hose or other cleaning attachments. Also includes original 50' extension cord, in good condition, albeit scuffed.
