Description: Seller: Alley-Antiques DESCRIPTION: Antique Porcelain. The price is for 1 porcelain Campana Urn Vase. Fabulous almost 200 years old Bloor Derby Porcelain Campana Urn Vase. Marked with iron red round Bloor Derby mark with a crown in the center, which date this to the 1825-1849 period. This form is an early form, so I would date this to the late 1820s to early 1830s. Circa 1825. English Late Georgian period. RARE black ground with hand painted gold gilding. Beautiful hand painted scene with 2 children holding birds. Nice gilded gold serpent snake handles. Great form in good condition. Scarce antique Bloor Derby Campana Urn. This piece is from the Zorensky Porcelain Collection and has a sticker with inventory number on bottom. Guaranteed 180+ years old. Antique. Almost 200 years old. Good condition for age. There has been old highly professional restoration to stabilize and hide a "T" hairline crack in the body on the back of the piece (doesn't travel to edge). You have to look very very close to see it. There is a firing annealing line on the snake handle body in-the-making (last pic). No other chips or cracks. Appearance is very good. Nice and clean. A little gold gilding wear around rim and on handles. Heavy quality early porcelain. Very RARE with the black ground. Rare example of this almost 200 year old Bloor Derby Urn with black ground.
