Description: Here is a scarce R.S. Prussia cobalt stipple mold open handled cake plate featuring Madame Lebrun. A large center transfer of Madame Lebrun is surrounded by gold stenciling and a cobalt outer band that is accented with gold floral stenciling. The plate is a bit of a departure from most cobalt stipple mold portrait pieces I’ve seen and has a cobalt outer rim instead of a gold outer rim. MEASUREMENTS: it is 10 ¾” across MAKER: it is an unmarked example of R.S. Prussia CONDITION: there is a 2 ¼” hairline on the back that I can’t see from the front side.
