From the ground up redesigned tuning chip for your e-bike with a Shimano motor ? with a new design and completely new hardware and firmware. The tuning chip SpeedBox 1.2 enables you to suppress the speed limiter on your electric bike. When in use, the actual speed will appear on your display up to 14mph (23 km/h). Note: The Speedbox App is an application specially designed for Speedbox B. Tuning products only. With a non-Bluetooth Speedbox product like this one, the Speedbox App is unavailable. How does Speedbox Work? The tuning kit manipulates the speed signal without altering the motor's power relative to pedaling speed. This guarantees a smooth motor control without speed limit interruptions. Depending on a tuning kit, some determine when assistance stops, while others remove the restriction entirely for continuous support. However, the achievable speed mostly depends on the eBike model. Achievable speed can be calculated using a simple formula: Speed = Cadence [rpm] * Wheel circumference [mm] * Front Chainring Teeth / Rear Chainring Teeth * 60 [min/h] / 1.000.000 [mm/km] This tuning chip can also be easily controlled with a LIGHT button.
