She settled on Kibbutz Ein Harod in the Jezreel Valley. In 1968, she opened a studio and gallery in the Artists' Quarter in Safed. In 1980, she opened another studio in Tel Aviv. Reis's landscapes are full of color and light, with an interplay between figurative and abstract art. She developed a technique of working on and over pre-existing images.
