Description: This mount utilizes the 1/4" threads on the camera and lets you adjust the angle of the camera, allowing you to place the camera higher and pointed down slightly. No more sticks placed behind the camera to get the proper angle!If there is tall grass in the foreground of the picture, this helps with "washout" from the flash at night on nearby objects and allows the camera to focus beyond the foreground items. A higher mounting position also helps the camera not be detected as easily by game.Ideal if the mounting tabs for the straps has been damaged, i.e. a bear has decided your camera looks tasty and takes a bite, soon to realize it didn't taste as good as it looks and walks away, but only after effortlessly ripping the camera from the tree... If you know, you know.Uses existing strap from camera. The mounting base straps around the tree just as the camera would. Pivot points can be tightened or loosened as desired with a Phillips screwdriver and provide friction to allow them to be adjusted to a point where they can be repositioned by hand, but also hold in place on their own. All pieces are made from UV resistant materials and all hardware is stainless steel .Comes with mounting base, extension, a camera specific adapter and all hardware. Extension length is 1.5". A different length extension can be included upon request, just send me a message.
