Vintage 50s Cotton Novelty Print Circle Skirt Day Dress Sz S

I love a graphic novelty print, and this one surprised me with its theme of the Robt E Lee Showboat, promising “A grand old time” for 50 ct, with such acts as the Varieo Minstrel Musical. Depictions of steamboats with the old one starred flag and bulletin boards in orange, green, gray and RWB on an ivory background. The boatneck collar and attached belt are in a pale orange. The back features a drop bare back with a pointed collar style. Metal zipper closure, plus, hooks and eyes for closure. I believe this was handmade. Wide, full circle skirt allows for crinoline, which I used for photos, but is not included. This dress is in near pristine condition for its age. The only issues are a very light spot on crease in boat collar and a light discoloration under arms from deodorant. I believe they can’t be cleaned out. I have not cleaned this dress, but it has no odors and I am leaving that to the buyer, the choice to have dry cleaned or handwash.
