Description: VINTAGE Black Ceramic Dachshund Dog Red Eye Figurine Hand Painted 5" Long Japan Unknown date but likely pre WWII - Late 1930s or early 1940s based on style and another listing that shows this piece dates back to 1939. Kind of a "spooky" dachshund dog with the red eyes - definitely different than many you see or find out there! Approximately 4-1/2'' long and 2-1/2'' tall. Condition: Good vintage preowned condition. Nice glaze and hand painted face. No cracks. A mold flaw on the back leg and a couple small chips around the ears and front leg. Some of the painting is worn from age.
