Description: For your consideration is a gorgeous vintage sterling silver pin, studded with pyrite or marcasite, in the shape of a fish with long flowing fins. The fish's eye is made of a garnet or ruby. The pin, from nose to tail, measures 1.3" long and weighs 8.43 grams. The pin stem and clasp are strong and secure. The pin is stamped Sterling Silver, German, an item number of 376 and S&F which I believe stands for the manufacturer -"Spritzer & Fuhrmann". Spritzer & Fuhrmann was a New York-based jewelry firm that operated from 1941 to 1955. The company was founded by Paul Spritzer and Paul Fuhrmann, who were both experienced jewelers. Their jewelry was known for its use of colorful and exotic gemstones, as well as its intricate designs. Today, Spritzer & Fuhrmann jewelry is highly collectible and sought after by vintage jewelry enthusiasts. This piece is no exception. It is just beautiful. It is not missing any stones and has not been cleaned or polished in order to retain its vintage patina. Please ask all questions prior to bidding or purchasing. Please read the description carefully and see photos for details as it completes the listing. I do not accept returns or give partial refunds. I can ship internationally via ebay's global shipping program. Bid with confidence from a trusted seller!
