Description: This auction is for a vintage Athos Menaboni, Syracuse China dinner plate, in the American Song Birds pattern with Common Goldfinch (Spinus Tristis)) birds and Chicory (Cochorium Intybus) on the front. Plate measure approximately 10.5” diameter round. Beautifully detailed porcelain made in America. It displays very well, and it would make a great addition to a collection. Athos Menaboni was Italian but made his home in Atlanta GA. He was famous for his bird painting that have a unique painting technique so the the oil paintings look like watercolors. So much detail in each painting. The condition is very good preowned vintage condition. See photos and supersize. These were only used for display. Faint light wear. From a smoke free home.
