Description: This piece weighs 1lb before packaging. This piece measures approximately 6" x 2 1/4" x 4 3/4" tall. This is a vintage Japan ceramic coin bank. It has the figural design of three monkeys (Speak No Evil, Hear No Evil, See No Evil) with the title "THREE WISE MONKEYS". This piece is in very good condition. There is some slight paint loss in places: where the "three wise monkeys" title is located, on the back, near the coin insert, on the backs of two of the monkeys and along the bottom edge. This is all very minor paint loss. The bank is missing it's original stopper. This piece has been written on in pencil on the bottom, apparently it was a Valentine's Day gift in 1970.
